William and Kate are global personal brands that demand power, money and attention, The beauty of their brand is that it did not need to be artificially created, so to speak, as do most US celebrity brands. I love the fact that this is a personal branding story that gives back, similar to how in the U.S. #Brangelina takes the world by storm, adopting the needy and feeding the hungry. William and Kate have now, boosted the British economy. I think this is fabulous. The William and Kate personal brand, and now baby George to succeed as King of England, although almost given to them by the rules of hereditary monarchy, is one that takes the power of personal branding and gives back to its community. The lesson here on personal branding, as it should be for big names of Linkedin Influencers like President Obama, Richard Branson and so on, is to utilize this power that is given with strong personal brands to give back and make a difference.
